FAMILY REUNION TRIP WAS AWESOME!!!

Me working on my blog with Adam!!!

Jason, Brandon, Julia, Penelope, Allyson & Lauren

Hello Everyone,

I am back from my week long family reunion trip. My Step Dad's (Adam) side of the family is really big and there are a lot of cousins to play with, so it was so much fun.

The first day we were there, we went to the spillway to see all the fish in the water. There were so many fish, it was disgusting. People would drop food in the water, but some people accidentally dropped cameras and stuff in there. Everyone body got a bag of bread to feed them, so I had a lot of fun feeing them. Afterwards, we went to Papa Yash's house and we looked around. We picked out Kayleigh's blanket. It was pink and it had an elephant on it.

On Carnival night, they had icies, popcorn and cotton candy. My favorite was the icies. There was a fishing game where you had to throw the fishing line over a blanket where you would catch candy. There was one game where you had to throw a ring over a bottle neck to win a prize. I won a blow up snake and a guitar. One game was a pool, there were ducks where you had three chances to pick up a winner, sorry or try again and if you won, you'd get a stuffed animal. I won a little platipus. They had face painting and tatoos, but I didn't get one.

The next day, the boys went to the petting zoo and the girls stayed at the camp and played. We played on our bikes and scooters. It was a lot of fun. When everyone got back, we did a talent show. I didn't do anything in the talent show, but I helped Celia and Julia set up their stuff. They brushed their teeth with their feet. It was cool.

The next day, we went to "Waldemeer Park" and had a really good time. I rode some rollercoasters. My favorite was really big and had a cool view of Lake Erie at the top of it. It was really fast. I also went to the water park and road some rides. I liked the Thunder River where you rode the logs down two big hills. One was bigger than the other and they didn't have seatbelts. It wasn't scary, except for the no seatbelt part. The last ride we went on was really fast and switched around halfway through the ride. So we would start out frontwards, but then turn backwards halfway and I hit my head on the black bar. It hurt!

The next day it rained and we stayed inside and played all day. In Lauren's cabin, Brandon, Jason, Lauren, Julia, Penelope and I did our own talent show. Lauren, Julia, Jason and Penelope are Adam's brother's children but there were atleast 10 other kids cousins we got to play with. Since there was so much rain, we had to move the campfire because the site flooded.

The last day, we did the Olympis which was supposed to be done on yeterday, but it rained. The first game was the sack races and Lauren was my partner. We didn't win, but it was a lot of fun. The team that won broke their bag and it looked like it made it easier for them to win. I think it was Brandon and Ethan. Next game I did was the water balloon relay races where you had to carry a balloon on a spoon. We won this game and won bracelets like Kayleigh's bracelets but it said Aloha, Surfs Up and Wipe Out. The last game was Gladiator Guard where you had to wear a vest, shield, sword and helmet. We had to run to one side and take it off and run back to tag our partner to do it again. Who ever finished first, won. I don't remember who won that one. At the end, we got metals and we shot water guns at everyone. It was so much fun.

The last day, we said goodbye to everyone and drove all the way home with Grandma and Papa G. It was a long drive, but we played a lot of car games.

Goodbye,

Allyson

Hi Ally! I found your blogspot and wanted to say hi! I need to stop by Brandon's too. I know I don't get to see you anymore, but I think about you everyday and love you the same! I was surprised to find out that your favorite subject is math. I never knew that! You are a very smart and beautiful girl and I know that you would make a wonderful teacher!

Hi. I am Judi. Adams'Uncle John and I live together here in Florida. We used to be married, then ...oh well, so now I don't see the family but Uncle John got to go and he said that the family reunion was great. Uncle John was one of the old men with beards and very little hair on top. He looks alot like Papa Yash. Anyhow, Happy Halloween. I think you probably dressed as either a cheeta girl or a beautiful princess. Was I close?

Sounds like you had a great time Allyson! Since you got a stuffed Platypus I guess a comment from Australia is quite timely eh?

I love your blog site and happened across it from Kayleigh's site. You know what I think? I think Kayleigh is SO very lucky to have a big sister like you and I just know that she cant wait to have you taking her out and about showing her off!! Its a long hard ride with these wee babes and I know how hard it is for you too!! My wee grandsons spent 18 months in NICU and PICU and their older sister used to get very cranky sometimes then she would feel bad for being cranky but - it's OK - we all have our moments and it sure doesnt mean anything bad - just that we are human eh? God Bless you and your family Allyson - you are all very very special people.
